Comments: Cowboy Bill rides again

The mini game to decide the Stick reeks worse than Lobster's old jock.

If past years are any indication, there won't be any problem getting guys to commit to attending ... whether the stick is the best of 3, 5, or 7 games. By my count, the only roadsters not attending for sure are New Guy and Hoss. That leaves us with slightly under a million players.

I vote for a Stanley Stick, best of 3 FULL games. Of course, my vote means nothing as there is no voting in the commish's roadhockey league.

Let's hold a formal vote this Sunday and see what everyone truly wants ... or is that too scary an idea for he who wishes to control us?

Lobsterboy,

You're not a nice guy and I'm very hurt by your post. Please just leave me alone. I'm really afraid that you're going to drop an "Ibsen's Ghosts" bomb on me.

By the way, I still think you're due to get "lit up".

This will be my third stanley stick and every year
it gets better and better I dont think we need to change anything.
Awww poor new guy;)

Well after taking a nuber of weeks off to rehab an injury and be abused by my employer I was looking forward to the Stanley Stick, but alas my employer requires my presence in Toronto on the 30th so I will miss the Stanley Stick yet again.

PFG, Toronto is in Canada, not Norway (btw what kind of play are you in that is playing in Norway, a hockey version of Ibsen's Ghosts?)

As a goalie i hate Rudy, because he will no doubt undress me the way he has undressed all other goalies...

Nice Picture of you Paul One..

The poll site seems to be broken, hence, no poll.

It's hard enough keeping the teams the same over two weeks, let alone expecting the same players to commit to three consecutive weeks.

...A mini game to 10?

-should all the glory of the stanley stick be decided by a slow, tired, mini game? -ten goals no less? just like every other casual mini game during the regular season... I guess it is the commishs call though.

So much for the on-line poll Idea Paul. It was a good one!

If the Stanley Stick is tied after two games, the champions will be decided by a mini-game to ten.

Who's got the trophy?

Elvis,

Solid questions. Perhaps an online poll might be in order.

By the way, I think the lobster is overdue for an old fashioned rout. Will it be during a Stanley Stick game?

Posted by PaulOne at May 19, 2004 01:12 PM

Lobster -didn't Rudy get you another win last week? -Your 3rd in a row -and 3rd of the season?

AS FOR THE STICK:

Whats the goalie showdown this stick?

Whats the subbing rules for single game stick players?

In the event of an even series after two games, will it be decided by a mini game -or as most of the murmurings seem to suggest would be preferred, a 3rd full game the following week?

Stanley Stick is still set for May 30 + June 6.

Are there any changes in the dates of the stanley stick? Who is not eligible to play? Where's Wendel? I feel sorry for you KId, gotta finish all that extra homework and being grounded for two weeks for staying out late...
I hate Rudy
