Page looks better and sharp in IE. The pictures and the links now appear on the right hand side versus at the very bottom of the page.
Posted by COUCH at March 15, 2004 10:12 AMAhh..nice to see the Colonel posting under my name again...the comedy bit that never dies...
Posted by Beetle Boy at March 14, 2004 03:31 PMI think I may miss Sunday's game as I anticipate I will be hung over due to Saturday, late-night affairs and I am still afraid of the water. BB
Posted by Beetle Boy at March 14, 2004 03:31 AMYou have the flu Wink? I'm sorry to hear that, I've heard it's a nasty strain this year.
Posted by NewGuy at March 13, 2004 09:54 PMI think the coding issue for PC's may be resolved. Could anyone viewing the site on a PC confirm?
Posted by Jay Suburb at March 13, 2004 08:18 PMWink flu?
Posted by Wink at March 13, 2004 05:03 PMColonel,I must be.
I will be unable to play Sunday due to an undisclosed injury.
Posted by Newguy at March 13, 2004 04:49 PMWhat's a New Guy?
Posted by Wink at March 13, 2004 08:57 AMNewGuy, you must be kidding ... and Subarb, you must think of all the Bill Gates fans around the world - they too deserve to view qulaity comments and pics from our beloved game regardless of the hardware / software they use to gain access to the virtual world.
Posted by TheColonel at March 12, 2004 11:03 PMIt looks, and works, perfect on a Mac. For those of you reading roadhockey.net on a PC, get a real computer;-)
Posted by Jay Suburb at March 12, 2004 07:42 PMWhat the Hell is "Netscape Navigator"? ;)
Posted by NewGuy at March 12, 2004 05:54 PMFor anyone using Internet Explorer to view the roadhockey.net site, don't. I just viewed the site using Netscape Navigator and it appears to be so much better laid out ... if only Jay Subarb had formatted the page to be viewed in multiple internet browsers ...
Posted by TheColonel at March 12, 2004 05:48 PMThanks Elvis next time I'll remember to call you for a ride.
Posted by Wendel at March 12, 2004 08:05 AMGeez Wendel...even Beetle Boy showed up in the downpour.
Why didn't you just catch a ride with someone...not like your car was going anywhere.
Fixing your tire could have been an exciting way to spend Sunday afternoon instead.
Posted by elvis at March 9, 2004 11:23 AMDamn Bird!!!!
Posted by Wink at March 8, 2004 03:23 PMApparently "whack job" is the type of thing you need to say during a post-game interview to get the coverage that, all to often, is reserved for the likes of Lak, Kid, and the Bird ... that dirty, dirty Bird!
Posted by TheColonel at March 8, 2004 10:33 AMSorry Wendel.
Posted by Wink at March 8, 2004 09:13 AMAw Wink don't be a wet blanket. I had all my best rain-gear on and was looking forward to playing in a game at a speed I could keep up with. Instead I had to go get a tire patched. Now THAT'S an exciting way to spend Sunday morning!!
Hey Colonel, great game there...almost as impressive as your post-game quotes. =)
Posted by Unabomber at March 8, 2004 03:40 AMSure you didn't miss today because of a wet tire? And a wet roof? And a wet hood? And some wet doors?
Posted by Wink at March 7, 2004 11:08 PMI missed today's game because my car had a flat tire. I think Billy Idol feared a rematch of last week's game. Or maybe it was the Kid. Whoever it was, I'm flattered someone feared my game enough to sabotage my car.
Posted by Wendel at March 7, 2004 07:18 PMBeetle doesn't know much about Wink...
And does anybody know anything about New Guy? Is he hiding in his closet or something?
Dammit, Wink beat me to the punchline by only a few minutes
Posted by Beetle Boy at March 7, 2004 03:43 PMTrust Colonel to know about whack jobs...
