Comments: Lak of attack sparks comeback

Velma reminds me of a younger Hired Gun Dixon Tam.

Thanks for the comments boys...but I don't think I've ever seen so many good sticks on D and of course Velma throwing his body in front of shots.

Oh, I also won't be there next weekend.

True, Gump played great. Definitely kept us in it...

Though he sort of became Marty Brodeur vs the USA (5-3 edition) a couple times. :)

Yes, we gave up a lot of shots but that was our strategy - let Gump stimy you to the point where you wondered whether you'd ever score. We figured you'd eventually get tired from shooting, let your guard down, and we'd finish you off. Got to love it when a plan comes together!

I don't think I've ever seen as much emotion as when that no-look pass found it's way onto Cowboy's stick for the winner. Doo's cheer was awesome! It must have been heard for miles around. Slam! Whack! Smack! Crack!

The media has a way with words but unfortunately its not accurate with those words.

That was a fun game and Velma played great. However, The BIG Gumper Show was the big reason for that win. We peppered him with so many shots and he kept making some great saves. If it wasn't for him that game was over in a hurry.

I won't be there next week as I will be doing a very long run, so hope you all have a good game.
