Comments: Rivalry riles roadsters

Whatever Gump - your stick toss was the highlight of the morning for our side. Be proud of it - it sailed mighty and true like a decathlete’s javelin toss!

It's true - I'm the next Gibberishhouse ... off to the doctor I go to have a scope.

Gump got good height and distance with the goalie stick toss...I think we were all impressed that it cleared the tall fence (with lots of room to spare).

My favourite rivalry is Gump vs. his goalie stick...

"You can take away my goalie stick, but you'll never take away our freedom!"

My apologies for my anticks on Sunday...there's no place in roadhockey for that kind of behaviour, although, I must say that I'm going to apply for the role of "guy who throws big sword through the air" in Braveheart 2. See you all next week.

Right you are about the stick pull, Beetle. It's fixed now.

As of 6:33pm on Monday, the names in the Stick Pull look a little off to me. I could've sworn I was on the same team as Colonel and Scooby and Wink...but maybe thats why my team lost..I had no idea which team I was on!

I thought the teams were:

Gump(G), Beetle, Colonel, Kid, Wink, Cowboy and Scooby

Otto(G), Lak, Elvis, Billy, Smith, Bones and Bird

When Lak plays against Kid its so inspiring, its like a million fireworks are exploding inside my mind all at once... Suburb, you are clearly running out of good story topics. (No offense to Lak and Kid ..er well, no offense to Lak at least).

Why not a story asking just Where the hell Lobster and his loafy, flabby, out-of-shape brother-in-law are? -or the return of Otto between the pipes to solve this years on-going goalie crisis? ...or what Nibs' bail is set at to buy back his freedom and get him stealing cars again? ...Surely all of these would be more entertaining stories than some make-believe rivalry.

Paul 'weezing' 1 vs Colonel -Now that's a rivalry... or Feeblehouse vs Colonel -Now that was a rivalry ... or
Colonel's Knee vs Colonel -Now that's a rivalry...
