February 10, 2008Scooby snacks on IdolScooby scored one of the niftiest goals in Sunday Morning memory to lead his team to a hard-fought 20-18 win in Sunday's game. The young speedster undressed Paul One, deked out Billy Idol, going forehand to backhand to lift it into the net. "It was a thing of beauty," said linemate Beetle Boy. Despite being played in the driest and mildest conditions in more than a month, the game was hobbled by the absence of two stalwart starting goalies, Gump and Pig Farming Goalie, as well as fellow founding father, the Living Legend, who missed the game with a cold. Beetle will be out on Sunday. Should be the best weather of the 2008 calendar year. Posted by: The Colonel at February 14, 2008 05:34 PMOh, and Mr.Suburb, how long have you been waiting to use "Scooby Snacks" in a headline? Posted by: Scrappy at February 14, 2008 01:20 AMlooks like i won't make it again this weekend, sorry dudes. heading to the interior for some family time. not that i need to take another unibomber blast of the thigh again though. Posted by: Billy Idol at February 12, 2008 03:16 PMIt looked like a wet one out there, even if the photo is from Suburb's library of road hockey weekly. Posted by: Gump at February 11, 2008 01:03 PMYa good thing Colonel wasn't there... ps Cowboy wasn't wearing a Tim Horton's jersey today silly Suburb. ; ) Posted by: Unabomber at February 11, 2008 01:26 AMIntense game today.
